Oberammergau, Germany

New New New. We are offering tours to Oberammergau, Germany for the Passion Play. The companies doing the tours are: Collette, Mayflower Tours and World Wide tours. Collette has the most and I have traveled with them a lot.
This will not be a group tour but you can sighn up individually and will meet up with your group when you get off the airplane. They have so many dates and tours to choose from and some are already sold out.
The most reasonable is called "Bavaria" with Collette. It is a 8 day tour. It stays in Munich every night except one and that night you stay in the Oberammergau region. The cost is $1,999 (per person for a double) for select dates. This does not include airfare or insurance. You can call the office for the dates and we will call Collette to see what the airfare and insurance will be. I have the flyers for the tours in the office and would be glad to check the availability for any of the tours. For the "Bavaria" tour it is $100 off per person if you sign up by Feb. 28.
This play is the passion play that the people of Oberammergau only present every 10 years. I was there 10 years ago and it is truly an experience of a lifetime. Just call the office and we will find out the info for you.... it plays all summer long.

We usually sell out every year on this one. Sandra Sheskin will be out tour guide for two days and she is fantastic. We squeeze in as many monuments and momorials that we possibly can. We will do a private wreath layin ceremony at Arlington. I have also applied for a private White house tour if it is available.

If you want a berth on the train home, it is $200 more per person and the berths hold 2 people, upper and lower bunks. The price for the berth includes all meals on the train. If you are traveling single the berth is $400. I have held 15 and they usually go fast.

Quad Cities with 4 hour boat ride down the Mississippi. This is our very poputlar tour and the color should be beautiful. We will also tour the Rock Islnad Arsenal and the John Deere Pavillion in Rock Island. We will stay 2 nights at the Isle of Capri Casino right along the Mississippi. It is a very relaxing tour.

WE again got a good rate for the beautiful Palmer HOuse Hotel so we are offering this tour for you die-hard shoppers or if you just want a relaxing weekend in Chicago. The Plamer House is located close to State Street and is beautiful. The hotel is also close to the theater district. Billy Elliot will probably still be on as well as a new show calle "MIllion Dollar Quartet". (Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, CArl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis were more than superstars) They were a "Rock and Roll: band. The taxi from the Palmer House to Sak's 5th Ave was only $7 last year. Not bad at all for a city and I was a single so if seferal of you share the cost, it beats walking.

Join us for your 21st tour to the great state of Alaska. I was able to keep the price the same as 2010. This year's price is $4,099 per person, plus optional platinum insurance of $309, making a total $4,408 per person. Single rat is approx. $1400 more plus insurance.
Until Aug. 16th the deposit is only $200. After the 16th it is $600 per person. A new policy this year is you do not have to pay for the platimun insurance until final payment is due. Plus you ge a coupon book valued @450 per cabin in this 2 week special.
The tour is a 9day inland and 4 day cruise. We prefer our curise to b last and this is one of the few tours I have found that the cruise is last.
The Tour includes: round trip airfare to/from Detroit, 12 nights lodging, 1 fantastic miners lunch at the Gold Dredge, 1 dinner theater @ Beaver Creek, lunch @ Tok & Haines Junction. Of course all the meals on the ship, are included. Tour also included a Holland America escort (from Anchorage to Skagway). Also included is an escort from Evelyn's Excursions. Not included is transportation to/from the ariport but we charter a bus and share the cost between those going. Also not inculded are the gratuities from the HA escort. (7 days and the bus driver through the Yukon (3days).The sooner you get your reservation in, the better chances you have of getting the cabin space you want and alos 1st seating on the ship for dining. we call your reservations in as soon as we bet your deposits. Youcan pay by CC and we call the # into Holland America the day you call us with your reservation.
There is optional platinum insurance available through Holland America. This protects you before and throughout the tour for cancellation and medical expenses. (Remember your Medicare does not cover you while you are in the Yukon. ) You can also check with your insurance to see if you are covered in Canada.
YOU MUST HAVE A PASSPORT FOR THIS TOUR BECAUSE OF COMING THROUGH THE YUKON AND FLYING HOME FROM VANCOUVER.
